Industrial Labourer

Cardiff, CF24 | £13.04 per hour | Monday to Friday | 6am-2pm, with one 8am-4pm shift per week | Temporary

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an Industrial Labourer to join an established industrial operation in Cardiff.

This is a hands-on role involving industrial cleaning, manual handling and light maintenance of industrial machinery. Full training will be provided for maintenance tasks, including changing filters.

What We Offer

• £13.04 per hour.
• £19.56 per hour after 8 hours and on Saturdays.
• £26.06 per hour on Sundays and bank holidays.
• Monday to Friday working.
• 6am-2pm shifts, with one 8am-4pm shift per week.
• Temporary position.
• Full training provided for relevant machinery maintenance tasks.

Key Duties

• Carry out light maintenance of industrial machinery, including changing filters.
• Complete manual handling duties.
• Carry out industrial cleaning and housekeeping.
• Support the wider industrial team with general operational duties.
• Follow site health and safety procedures and working practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in an industrial environment.
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling and industrial cleaning duties.
• Willingness to undertake a substance abuse test and medical examination.
• Full UK driving licence due to the site location and shift start times.
• Reliable and willing to learn new maintenance tasks.
