Introduction

As a preferred supplier, Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and safety-focused HGV Class 2 Driver to support scaffold operations in Swansea.

This role combines professional driving duties with hands-on support in a scaffolding environment and requires a valid CISRS trade qualification as either a Scaffolder or Scaffold Labourer.

Key Duties

• Safely operate and drive Class 2 (Category C) vehicles delivering scaffold materials to commercial and industrial sites.

• Assist scaffolders with manual handling, loading, unloading, and organising equipment on vehicles and on site.

• Work as part of a scaffolding crew, following all site safety procedures and supporting erecting or dismantling operations (within CISRS scope).

• Carry out daily vehicle checks, ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company standards.

• Maintain accurate delivery records and site paperwork, communicating effectively with logistics and scaffold teams.

• Uphold high standards of health and safety in challenging site environments and adverse weather conditions.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.

• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

• Current CISRS qualification (Scaffolder or Scaffold Labourer).

• Experience in a physically demanding construction or scaffolding environment.

• Strong awareness of transport and on-site safety requirements.

• Positive, reliable attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.

• £16.00 per hour PAYE or £19.00 per hour Umbrella.
