Production Operative

Widnes | £12.21-£13 per hour DOE | Monday - Friday | Temporary to Permanent

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a rapidly growing, friendly company based in central Widnes. Our client specialises in supplying flavourings to the health and nutrition industry and prides itself on its core values of honesty, integrity, teamwork, accountability, and customer focus. Key Duties:

• Weigh, blend, test, and dispense batches in a fast-paced production environment.

• Follow production plans and quality control procedures.

• Record accurate batch data, including materials and lot numbers.

• Handle and store raw materials safely and correctly.

• Operate and maintain mixing equipment.

• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.

• Support inventory management and stock checks.

• Comply with health & safety, PPE, and food hygiene standards (including HACCP where applicable).

• Report any quality or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred.

• Experience on BRC-accredited sites and knowledge of HACCP is a strong advantage.

• Excellent manual handling skills and health & safety awareness.

• Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.

• Strong communication and teamworking skills.

• Flexibility with working hours as needed by production demands.
