Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant - Immediate Start

Exeter (Sowton Industrial Estate) | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | £12.60 per hour | 9am-5.30pm | Occasional Sundays

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant for an immediate start with our client based in the Sowton Industrial area of Exeter.

This is a full-time role working within a friendly but fast-paced eco kitchen environment. You will play a vital part in keeping the kitchen and staff restaurant clean, organised, and running smoothly.

Key Duties

• Pot washing of kitchen crockery, cutlery, and cooking pots and pans.

• Clearing and sanitising all kitchen surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.

• Maintaining the coffee section, ensuring it is fully stocked and replenished.

• Removing dirty cups and keeping coffee and service areas clean and tidy.

• Cleaning staff restaurant tables and chairs.

• Supporting the wider kitchen team as required.

Requirements

• Previous Kitchen Porter experience is essential.

• Experience working within a kitchen environment.

• Happy to work as part of a team and support across all areas.

• Reliable, honest, and hardworking.

• Available to assist on occasional Sundays for Sunday dinners.

What We Offer

• £12.60 per hour.

• Full-time, Monday to Friday working pattern.

• Daytime hours: 9am-5.30pm (some flexibility).
