Industrial Maintenance Electrician (Apprenticeship Served)

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Maintenance Electrician for a leading industrial business based in Llanbydder. This permanent, full-time role is ideal for a time-served electrician with experience in heavy industry or manufacturing.

Key Duties:

• Carry out efficient repair of electrical breakdowns.

• Perform planned preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.

• Maintain motors, switchgear, panels, and electrical systems safely.

• Support the installation and commissioning of electrical projects.

• Operate and maintain electrical equipment including PLCs and control systems.

• Identify faults quickly and implement effective solutions.

• Adhere to health & safety procedures and company policies.

• Work collaboratively with other departments to meet operational goals.

Requirements:

• Apprenticeship served in electrical maintenance.

• 17th or 18th Edition of BS 7671.

• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.

• Experience working in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment (advantageous).

• Computer literacy and ability to use maintenance systems.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Flexible, proactive, and safety-focused approach.
