Chard | £12.21 per hour (starting rate) | Full-Time, Monday-Thursday, 6:45am-5pm | No Weekends | Temporary to Permanent

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Forklift Driver / Production Operative to join a busy foundry team in Chard. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity offering excellent progression prospects and a strong work-life balance.

Key Duties:

• Work in a foundry environment.

• Mould and finish (fettle) metal castings.

• Perform general lifting and manual handling tasks.

• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.

• Support production processes while maintaining health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
