Full Time Packing and Production Operative - Honiton Devon

Days of work: Monday to Thursday weekly

Hours: 8am - 5:30pm

Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour

Start Date: 3rd November

Temp on-going work with potential to join the team on a permanent contract after 12 weeks

Acorn by Synergies are working with UK's leading manufacturer in their field and are looking to recruit a packing and production operative on a temporary on-going basis.

Duties of Packing Operative:

• Pack and label products in accordance with packing specifications
• Bag products, using either bagging machinery or manually
• Carry out specific product finishing activities and Quality Inspection
• Prepare customer orders ready for dispatch
• Maintain the Packing area in a clean, tidy and efficient condition at all times
• Separate and record any defective products
• Assist in checking stock as required

After assessment and training Packing Operatives may be required to work in the Cutting & Finishing areas

Skills and Experience:

• Previous packing or production experience
• Machine operation desirable but not essential as training will be provided
• Good level of English and understanding to meet H&S requirements and expectations.
• Positive communication and ability to work well within a team

Due to factory location you will require your own transport to get to site - unless you live locally in Honiton
