Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company in Wellington, near Taunton, Somerset. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role with a structured training programme, pay progression, and overtime opportunities.

Key Duties

• Working as part of a small production team.
• Performing manual handling tasks for extended periods while filtering materials through machinery.
• Programming and operating production machinery.
• Topping up chemical and fluid levels on machinery.
• Changing tools on machines to manufacture different products.
• Fault finding and resolving issues to keep production running smoothly.
• Rotating between different machines and tasks within production.

Requirements

• Comfortable with labour-intensive work and manual handling.
• Willingness to work in a noisy environment (ear defenders provided).
• Ability to follow processes and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliability and commitment to training and progression.

Hours of Work

• 40 hours per week.
• Sunday - Thursday, 10pm - 6am.
• All breaks are paid.

What We Offer

• Starting pay: £13.82 per hour (£28,879 annual salary).
• Pay increases with training: up to £17.90 per hour when fully trained.

• Regular overtime available:

• £20.73 per hour (weekdays).
• £27.64 per hour (weekends).
