Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:15 PM, Monday to Friday
Location: Shotton
Salary: £34,750 - £37,500 per annum, plus bonus

Role Overview
We are seeking a Process Manager to join our team and oversee the improvement and optimisation of manufacturing processes. This is a newly created role, designed for a professional with experience in the textile or heavy manufacturing industries. As a Process Manager, your primary focus will be enhancing operational efficiency and improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in advancing our manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manufacturing and Safety Oversight:
- Represent manufacturing within the TRIO area, collaborating with Engineering and Technical teams.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, including the management of substances under NONS and COSHH.
- Act as the operational representative for process safety initiatives such as Bow Tie Analysis and Management of Change (MOC).
2. Performance Monitoring:
- Track and evaluate local Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess production efficiency.
- Identify and address production deficiencies, providing structured solutions.
- Partner with Team Leaders and Management to deliver insights and data-driven decisions.
3. Process Improvement:
- Lead the deployment of the Daily Management System (FLOW) using proven methodologies.
- Develop project scopes for improvement initiatives and manage the integration of new equipment.
- Oversee training and creation of Safe Working Procedures (SWP) for process changes.
4. Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain Operational Management Systems, including standards, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure Safe Working Procedures align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary operational contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Technical Services and Product Development teams to manage the Product Development Approval (PDA) process, from initiation to customer order acceptance.
6. Audit Coordination:
- Act as the main contact for internal product audits and support external audits as required.
7. Continuous Improvement:
- Take ownership of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Problem-Solving (PPS) processes.
- Lead initiatives to improve waste management and operational planning.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are proactive and analytical, with a commitment to improving manufacturing processes while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Level 5 qualification in disciplines such as Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Leadership & Management, Safety, Materials, or Business Improvement.
- Relevant experience in a similar role may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
