The Process Manager is a new role. As the Process Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising business processes to improve production area efficiency and asset OEE.
This role involves working within cross-functional teams, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
As a Process Manager you will play a vital role in enhancing our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of operational efficiency, safety, and compliance. The key accountabilities for this position include:
1. Manufacturing and Safety Oversight:
* Represent manufacturing within the TRIO area, collaborating with Engineering and Technical peers.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including managing new substances under NONS and COSHH, and acting as the operational representative for process safety initiatives like Bow Tie analysis and Management of Change (MOC).
2. Performance Monitoring:
* Own and monitor local Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), evaluating performance metrics against established targets.
* Identify production deficiencies and prioritise structured responses to address them, reporting on performance as required.
* Working with area Team Leaders and Management teams to provide insight and make data-driven decisions.
3. Process Improvement Initiatives:
* Lead the deployment of the tiered Daily Management System (FLOW) using the appropriate methodologies.
* Prepare detailed project scopes for improvement initiatives and manage the integration of new equipment through organised training and Safe Working Procedure (SWP) creation.
4. Documentation and Compliance Management:
* Maintain Operational Management Systems, including working documents, standards, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee the documentation of Safe Working Procedures to align with safety standards.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
* Act as the primary operational contact for both internal and external stakeholders where required.
* Collaborate with Technical Services & Product Development teams to manage Product Development Approval (PDA) planning from initiation to customer order acceptance guidelines (OAG) for products made within your responsible area.
6. Audit Coordination:
* Serve as the main contact during internal product audits and assist with external audits as necessary to ensure compliance.
7. Continuous Improvement:
* Take ownership of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Problem-Solving (PPS) applications where required.
* Lead initiatives for waste management improvement and planning.
