Position: Catering Assistant

Role Overview:

The Catering Assistant will support the facilities team in providing catering services to patients, staff, and visitors in line with the Health Board Food Safety policy and all related policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering high standards of catering service.
• Maintain open and effective communication within the team.

Requirements:

• A valid Level 2 food hygiene certificate is essential.
• A standard DBS check is required; Acorn will assist with this.
• Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends.

Hours and Pay Rate:

• 16+ hours per week
• Hourly pay rates:
  • Weekdays: £11.44
  • Saturdays: £16.13
  • Sundays / Bank Holidays: £20.94
