Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm - 30-minute lunch break

25 Days Holiday plus statuary bank holidays

Acorn by Synerige is currently working with an exciting client who are looking for experienced and qualified individuals to join their team based in Swindon.

Job Title: Panel Beater

They are looking for a skilled Panel Beater, preferably with ATA but not mandatory.

Previous experience required.

Main Duties include:

To repair or replace as necessary bodywork panels of damaged vehicles according to the instructions received or details on the job card. This will may include chassis and framework.

Qualified Staff - The main tasks will be completed without supervision and includes providing direct supervision to non-qualified technicians where applicable.

Non-Qualified Staff - The main tasks will be competed with direct supervision from a qualified Technician.

This will include:

  • Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing damaged panels or by replacing those beyond repair. All equipment used, to include jigs, fixtures and welding equipment, will be operated as per the instructions, level of qualification and to the prescribed safety standards.
  • Adhere to the manufacturer's literature and modification bulletins as appropriate to the repair and to the replacement of chassis and panel work. Where appropriate attend training courses to enable you to be updated on new techniques and produce development.
  • Handle all vehicles with due care and attention ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is maintained at all times, keeping the Company's tools and equipment safe and in a clean, workable condition.
  • To be aware of and adhere to all the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment.

OTHER DUTIES

Due to the size and complexity of the establishments you will undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capability, as directed by a senior manager to whom you have a reporting relationship.

  • Competitive salary agreed on interview.
